Prof. Thong is Senior Consultant at the Department of Rheumatology, Allergy and Immunology, and Divisional Chairman, Medicine at Tan Tock Seng Hospital, Singapore; and Adjunct Associate Professor at the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. His special interests are in drug allergy, anaphylaxis, health technology assessment and rheumatic diseases. He is actively involved in various aspects of clinical care, medical and inter-professional education, research and innovation in rheumatology and clinical immunology/allergy in Singapore.
